The quartet “OLA TUNJI” explores the direction in which musical interaction becomes a powerful expression. Its members met and began playing together before the summer of 2023, and then united through their shared passion for the spiritual and musical life of John Coltrane.

Elevating themselves to compose, to express their personal form of music through improvisation, they play for love, compassion, joy, and serenity, like meditations and prayers that bring them back to a deeper humanity in music.

OLA TUNJI released their debut EP, “Untitled EP” on September 27, 2024, which has already received numerous positive reviews (“One Man’s Jazz,” “All About Jazz,” “Bandcamp Daily (New Spiritual Jazz Album Guide“), and has garnered digital success, among others).

Their debut album is currently in development and will be released in 2026 on WERF Records.
